The Workshop had targeted at students of architecture who were in the third year of the architecture course, that is, the sixth semester of the 10 semester degree programme in architecture. We had spend one week at IIT Kanpur and undergo hands on training in Earthquake Resistant Architecture Practices through a series of lectures and design studios, coordinated by professionals with wide experience in this field. 

Students selected from Sir J.J. College Of Archietcture:-

Achivements:-

Second Position :-  Bhavin Kantilal , Sir JJ College of Architecture, Mumbai.

In Top Six Position  :- Yash Rajesh Agarwal , Sir JJ College of Architecture, Mumbai.

We were provided with Book  “ Earthquake Design Concepts” by Professor C.V.R Murty and Andrew Charleson, which formed the background material for the workshop.

6 days event was organized , 2 days for lecture and 3 days for designing and 1 day for jury.

Design assignment :- Housing project on a site in Guwahati, located in seismic zone 5 .

Total 70 no. students participated from all over country.

Students were divided into group of 2  - (30 groups)
