Marathi Wangmay Mandal Celebrates 100 Years of Cinema. It is been tradition of Marathi wangmay mandal (established in 1974) to celebrate the first event of the year based on different themes. As Cinema has completed 100 years, and Marathi cinema being the pioneer of film industry, Marathi Wnagmay Mandal celebrated Cineshatayushi at Sir J.J. college of architecture on 19th july 2012. A voracious reader, orator, Natsamrat Atul Kulkarni was invited as a chief guest to enhance the enthusiasm in the youth. He guided students about how to live a successful but happy life and impressed all with his gracious talk. "माझं इथे येऊन तुम्हा विद्यार्थ्यांशी बोलणं हे एका सिनेमाच्या शुटींग एवढंच माझ्यासाठी महत्वाचं आहे" (For me, talking to you all students is as important as any of my film's shooting) Was the heart winning sentence during the interactive session.
