Another exciting talk awaits us this week with, Ar. Madhav Joshi, the Founder of the Architectural and Urban Planning firm based in Pune - Madhav Joshi and Associates.
His talk is titled "Design Dialect"; the firm's architectural protfolio includes projects of different scales and types ranging from housing and institutional buildings, hotels to high-end residences, corporate offices to urban design projects but their leading design dialect is to translate functional project briefs into poetic and contextual built forms.
Another exciting talk awaits us this week with the founders of a multidisciplinary design studio whose work depicts a keen sense of urbanism - Ar. Bijoy Ramachandran and Ar. Sunitha Kondur.
Their talk is titled "Design and Context", as their studio has redirected their focus on the urban context by returning to the questions of scale, character, spatial and visual impact, and remaking the public domain, all of which is so vital to the urbanism of Indian cities.

Jude D’Souza is an architect and educator based in Mumbai. He is the Founding Principal of JDAP – an award-winning architectural firm with offices in Mumbai and Bangalore. Known for its innovative and integrated approach, JDAP works with the principle “Design that is closer to Nature”.
With the title of his talk being “ Building Ideas”, he shall be speaking on how architects should always be on a quest for new ideas – and how asking the big, difficult questions is always worth it.
